Yokayo Ranch! …… One of our new favorite venues!

On Saturday, May 8, 2021 we had the honor of DJ’ing a wedding for Kacie and Rafal at the amazing Yokayo Ranch! 

This is a very cool and fun place to have a wedding, private event, pool party, retreat or your very own version of Burning Man!  Yokayo Ranch is owned and operated by the amazing Rachel & Ian! Rachel and her staff are incredibly talented and accommodating!  If you’re looking to have the all inclusive full weekend experience and if you love to party, this is the place for your event or wedding.  They offer their event space for the entire weekend!  You can have your rehearsal, wedding, after party and day after brunch... all there!  Once you’re there you don’t need to leave.  There’s camping spaces available on the property as well as indoor lodging, a full bar adjacent to the pool which is adjacent to the reception space which is a lawn and a concrete dancing area!  It’s surrounded and secluded by huge oak tree’s …. they're also 420 friendly for those of you looking for that as well. 

Kacie and Rafal were married in the very well shaded out door ceremony space and then went straight into their cocktail hour.  This was the type of crowd that dances during the cocktail hour and that is what they did!  About an hour later they sat for a very high energy dinner.  When I say high energy, I mean lots of high fives, chanting and cheering on the newlyweds to kiss while glasses were clinging!  Golden hour soon came as they briefly left to have sunset photos with Christy Marie from Christy Marie Photography. 

As soon as they returned we opened the dance floor and it remained open and full for the next five hours and 15 min…. yes, a 5 hour and 15 min. dance set.  In my 20+ years of djing in the private event space, I’ve never had a 5 hours set.  I can honestly say it went by fast though...because it was so much fun to dj for this young crowd! 

Congratulations to Kacie and Rafal, you and your guests were a fun group and we wish you the very best!
